Bundamba Creek Urban Wetland – Creek Rehabilitation
Project Description
Repair and rehabilitation works were undertaken to an eroded and degraded section of the stream at its confluence with Bundamba Creek. The project sought to improve water quality, habitat and bank stability. A bio-engineered approach was used to naturalise the stream alignment. The project was highly successful with bank erosion repaired and stabilised and a vigorous and resilient native vegetation community established in stream and on banks.
WATCH an example of Australian Wetlands work from start to finish. This project was completed in late 2013.
